Big Smitty is a five piece band that performs classic rock, country, funk, and dance/party music around the four state area of Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Arkansas and further when the opportunity arrives!

The favorites you'll get to enjoy span anywhere from Eddie Money, Van Halen, Green Day, White Snake and Heart. To Tim McGraw, Trace Adkins, Hank Williams Jr and Tone-Loc, Cameo, Coolio, Kool and the Gang.

A Brief History of the Band

The band was formed in 1999 and originally called, "Big Smitty and the Manbas". The original line up was Shawn Smith, Jon Banta, Brad Shepherd, Kent Long, and Lonny Neidholt.  The band immediately took on a party band vibe. With a packed setlist of favorites of fun songs, great energy and an all around fun band the band started packing venues and bars.

As members changed along with modifying the song selections to include funk and dance music, the band also shortened the name to "Big Smitty".

Over the next 26 years the band has played hundreds and hundreds of shows. Being supported by amazing fans over the years, each member is very thankful for all of the support!
